The latest filming updates for The Rings of Power Season 2

Let’s take a closer look to this new pics, trying to analyze them and speculate as much as possibile.

Analysis and speculations

Judging from the trebuchet and that super cool orc in battle asset, we are probably in front of the battle of Eregion: one of the most important events of the next season. We know so far that the S2 will be focused on Sauron rise in power and influence, that culminates in the destruction of the elven realm, as we can read in the Silmarillion and in LOTR appendices. So this photos are probably depicting that battle, and it is also possible that they are from the last 2 episodes of the season. Another curios fact regards the Orc in the first pic. As we can see he is not protecting himself from the sun, so it is highly possibile that he’s under Sauron magic with the rest of the army, in a similar way to the march of the orcs to Gondor in LOTR films.
