EXCL: The Rings of Power Season 2, new leaks about Galadriel and the elves

• “EXCL: Galadriel will get captured by Adar and the Orcs at some point in The Rings of Power Season 2”
• “Actors Benjamin Walker (Gil-galad), Charles Edwards (Celebrimbor), Robert Aramayo (Elrond) and Selina Lo have spent a lot of time in the Eregion/Elven sets at Bray Studios.”

Analysis and thoughts

These news are surely interesting in many potential ways. The fact that Gil-galad, Celebrimbor and Elrond will pass a lot of time in Eregion makes so much sense, because after the creation of the elven rings the elves needs to organize their power and politic to keep safe their kingdoms. We know so far that Sauron, in the season 2, will show himself with different appereances, and it is not impossibile that he can try to return back to Eregion in elves shape before the huge attack on Ost-In-Edhil at the end of the season.

Talking about Galadriel, it seems very weird that she will be captured, but we can assume that after the creation of Nenya she will find the opportunity to create her own kingdom, but at the moment is very difficoult to find connection with Adar. Maybe an attack on Mordor to rescue some southlanders? Maybe the key of this scenario is Isildur? It could be, but for now thats all we can tell.

It is exciting to see the possibility of Selina Lo potentially playing an elf as even though we have confirmation that she has been on elven sets, it hasn’t been explicitly confirmed yet whether she is an elf herself (but this is the most likely scenario. Previously we released that there will be a new elven character called Mirdania in season 2 so maybe Selina Lo will be playing this character? Let us know your thoughts!
